Packt want to become the most widely-used learning resource that professional developers depend on and needed an identity to reflect this.

A slick, no frills identity was needed that could be easily translated across their digital platform and books they publish. Packt are straight to the point in their approach and produce content quickly in order to keep up with the fast pace of the tech industry.

Less is more

Less is more

Packt publish content at serious speeds online and through books. They needed some unity across the two that makes them stand out from the crowd and you instantly know you are getting quality when you see a Packt book. Taking inspiration from Penguin books, a simple structured design was created with colours for each category, with the content title front of mind.

Never stop developing

Great developers are always developing. They push their skills forward in the only tried and tested way: by continually learning, testing, making mistakes and, above all, continually coding. Part of the identity was formed with this in mind, keep coding, keep developing until you get it right, then go again.
